London Records reissue Bronski Beat's classic 1984 debut The Age of Consent for its 40th anniversary and this SDE-exclusive blu-ray audio features the album and plenty of bonus material, all in mixed in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround and available in instrumental form. This will be #26 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series.

Bronski Beat were Steve Bronski, Larry Steinbachek and Jimmy Somerville and this album (the only proper studio album to feature Jimmy) was released in October 1984, hitting the top 10 across Europe as well as in Canada and New Zealand. Three of its four singles made the UK 10, including 'Why?' and the enduring classic 'Smalltown Boy'.
